Ana TV ("we", "our", "us") is a TV show tracking application. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the Ana TV app.

Information We Collect

• Account information: When you create an account, we collect your email address and a hashed password. If you sign in with Apple, we receive your Apple user identifier and, optionally, your name and email address.
• Library data: The TV shows you add, your watch progress, and episode tracking data.
• Usage data: Basic server logs (IP address, request timestamps) for operational purposes.

How We Use Your Information

• To provide and maintain the Ana TV service.
• To authenticate your identity and secure your account.
• To store and sync your TV show library and watch progress.

Third-Party Services

We use The Movie Database (TMDB) to provide TV show information (titles, descriptions, poster images). Your search queries are forwarded to TMDB through our server. TMDB's privacy policy is available at themoviedb.org/privacy-policy.

Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored in a PostgreSQL database hosted on Railway. Passwords are hashed using BCrypt and are never stored in plain text. All communication between the app and our servers uses HTTPS encryption.

Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data by contacting us.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Request correction of inaccurate data.
• Request deletion of your account and data.

Children's Privacy

Ana TV is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
